Antique French Cherrywood Table with Bistro Chair, circa 1930s
Antique French table with matching-style wooden bistro chair.
The table is made from solid cherrywood and dates from the early 20th century. It has a simple construction with four straight legs and one drawer fitted with a wooden knob. The tabletop and apron are approximately 3 cm thick.
The cherrywood has a warm natural colour with visible grain and a varnished finish.
The accompanying French bistro chair is made from beechwood and features a decorative pressed wooden seat and spindle back. The chair dates from approximately 1920–1940.
