Antique Beechwood Workbench, French Early 20th Century
This antique French workbench is crafted from solid beechwood and originates from a workshop in Vichy, France. It dates to the early 20th century, circa 1900–1930.
The bench features a robust and functional design, characteristic of traditional French atelier workbenches. The thick, single-piece top (10 cm) is surrounded by a substantial apron (13.5 cm), contributing to its stability and durability.
On the left side, the bench is equipped with a large original screw vise, while the right side features an adjustable blocking spindle. At the rear, two integrated tool holders are present. An additional drawer is located at the back left, offering practical storage.
The surface shows signs of age and use consistent with its history, including marks, wear, and patina developed over time.
