Antique French Farmhouse Dining Table in Oak and Poplar, 1850–1900
This French farmhouse table dates from around 1850–1900. It features a solid poplar top and a solid oak base with four tapered legs. A single drawer with its original turned wooden knob is fitted beneath the top.
The table stands on small brass swivel castors, making it easy to move when needed. It is suitable for use as a dining table, kitchen table or work table.
The top has been finished with a lightly tinted wax that enhances the wood grain while preserving its aged character. The table shows normal signs of use accumulated over many years and remains sturdy and stable.
