Antique French Folding Garden Table Set with Benches, Pine & Chestnut, circa 1900–1920

Large antique French table set consisting of a folding garden or dining table with two long benches, dating from approximately 1900–1920. Originally intended for communal dining, outdoor gatherings, village celebrations, and seasonal meals in the French countryside.

The table features a solid plank top made from pine wood with a well-developed patina and natural signs of age acquired over time. The folding base is constructed from chestnut wood and consists of three folding supports, secured in place with original iron braces, allowing the table to be dismantled for transport and storage.

The set includes two long benches, each with its own character and material composition: one bench is crafted from poplar wood, while the other is made from pine wood and retains a warm oxblood-red finish, showing wear and patina consistent with age and use.

With its generous dimensions and folding construction, this set is suitable for use as a garden table, outdoor dining set, farmhouse table, or communal dining arrangement. It can also work well in hospitality settings, vineyards, event spaces, or covered outdoor areas.
