Antique French Industrial Table with Cast Iron Base and Pine Top

This antique French table features a heavy cast iron base combined with a solid pine plank top.

The cast iron base originally formed part of a large grinding stone installation, giving the piece a strong industrial character. The original manufacturer’s plaque “Établissements Fortin, Paris” is still present and adds to its authenticity.

The tabletop is made from four old pine planks and is constructed using a traditional cleated system. The wood shows natural signs of age and use, contributing to its warm and rustic appearance.

The table is constructed in two parts for easier transport.

A versatile piece suitable as a dining table, wine table, console table or garden table.
