An antique workbench dating from around 1900. Made of solid chestnut, this compact carpenter’s bench combines authentic workshop character with practical everyday use.

The thick solid top shows the marks of more than a century of craftsmanship, including knots, tool marks, old repairs, and a well-developed natural patina. One side is fitted with the original wooden front vice with its iron handle, while the lower slatted shelf provides additional storage.

Thanks to its compact dimensions, this piece is suitable for a variety of interiors. It can be used as a console table, hallway table, kitchen island, bathroom vanity, or decorative side table, while retaining its original appearance as a traditional workbench.

The workbench is sturdy, stable, and ready for use. It remains in good antique condition with normal signs of age and use that are consistent with its history.
