Set of 6 Danish Teak Model 422 Dining Chairs, Attributed to Arne Vodder for Sibast, 1960s
A set of six Danish dining chairs manufactured by Sibast Furniture in Denmark, dating from the 1960s. The design is generally known as Model 422 and is attributed to Danish designer Arne Vodder.
The chairs are made of teak and feature a tall, slightly curved backrest with slender vertical spindles. The rounded uprights continue into the rear legs, while the gently curved top rail follows the shape of the back. The seats are upholstered in a red-orange patterned fabric.
The underside of the chairs retains the original “Made in Denmark – Sibast Furniture” manufacturer’s label, confirming their Danish origin and manufacturer.
The set remains in good vintage condition with age-related signs of use to the wooden frames and upholstery. Please refer to the photographs for details of the condition.
Sold as a complete set of six.
