Each chair has a round wooden seat and a tall curved backrest with four slender turned spindles. Curved supports connect the seat and back, while a circular bentwood stretcher strengthens the legs.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"731\" data-end=\"988\">The chairs were acquired as Fischel chairs. Traces on the wood indicate where paper labels were once attached, although the labels themselves are no longer present. The design and construction are consistent with Fischel bentwood furniture from this period.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"990\" data-end=\"1182\">The beechwood has developed a warm colour and natural patina over the years.
