Compact Antique French Work Table with Bistro Chair | Table c.1900 | Chair c.1950

A compact French work table with a matching bistro chair. The table dates from around 1900 and is made of pine and poplar. It features a single drawer with its original wooden knob and a three-plank top that has developed a warm patina through years of use.

With its compact size, this set is well suited for smaller spaces. It can be used as a writing desk, laptop table, side table or occasional workspace in a kitchen, hallway or study.

The accompanying French bistro chair dates from around 1950 and is made of solid beech. Its simple design complements the character of the table while providing a comfortable seat for everyday use.

Both pieces are in good antique and vintage condition with normal signs of age and use. The table shows marks, scratches, stains and wear to the top, all consistent with its age and history. The drawer slides smoothly and the construction is sturdy. The chair is solid and ready for use.
