Antique French Watchmaker’s Workbench – Circa 1900–1920
An authentic early 20th-century French watchmaker’s workbench, featuring a beautifully aged patina developed over decades of use.
This piece is characterized by its practical layout, with multiple small drawers of varying sizes, ideal for organizing tools and small objects. The work surface shows clear signs of use consistent with its original function, adding to its character and authenticity. A metal vise is mounted on the right-hand side, emphasizing its original workshop purpose.
A notable feature is the pull-out working shelf, fitted with a leather inset surface, traditionally used to protect delicate watch components and tools during fine work.
Constructed primarily in solid oak, the bench stands on sturdy legs and includes a lower shelf for additional storage or display. The lower shelf is a later addition and can be removed if desired.
