Set of Three French Hollywood Regency Nesting Tables with Green Onyx Tops, Gilt Metal, Louis XVI Style, 1950s–1970s

A set of three French nesting tables dating from the mid-20th century, executed in the Hollywood Regency style with Louis XVI influences.

Each table features an oval green onyx top with natural veining in shades of green, cream, honey and rust. The tops are supported by gilt metal frames with fluted legs, decorative collars and embossed apron details. The three tables slide neatly beneath one another, allowing them to be used together or separately.

The combination of polished onyx and gilt metal makes this set suitable as side tables, occasional tables or display tables in both classic and contemporary interiors.

The set remains in good vintage condition with age-related wear. The gilt finish shows areas of patina and wear consistent with age and use. The onyx tops display natural colour variations and veining, with minor surface wear consistent with careful use. The tables are structurally sound and ready for use.
