Antique French Round Walnut Dining Table, circa 1880–1900

Antique French round dining table dating from the late 19th century, circa 1880–1900.

The table is crafted in walnut and features a round solid wood top measuring 3 cm in thickness. It stands on four turned and fluted legs, typical of French furniture from this period. The walnut has developed a warm, naturally varied colour and visible grain throughout.

With a diameter of 120 cm, the table offers practical proportions for use as a dining table while retaining a relatively compact footprint. The simple construction and restrained detailing allow it to work in both traditional and more contemporary interiors.

The table shows signs of age and previous use, including surface marks, variations in colour and an established patina. These are consistent with its age and form part of the character of the piece.
