Antique French Garden Dining Table – XXL Wine Table with Benches
Exceptional antique French XXL folding table dating from around 1900–1920, originally used for village celebrations, harvest feasts, and outdoor gatherings in the French countryside. This impressive and highly atmospheric piece would make a striking statement in a garden, event space, winery, restaurant, or large farmhouse interior.
The table features a solid pine plank top with beautiful aged character and natural patina. The folding trestle legs are crafted from chestnut wood and can be folded flat for transport and storage. They are secured in place with original iron braces, reflecting the practical and robust rural craftsmanship of the period.
Accompanying the table are matching long benches made from solid pine wood with a warm oxblood-red (bœuf rouge) painted finish, adding to the authentic rustic character of the set.
This type of table was traditionally used for village festivals and communal meals in rural France and is increasingly sought after for weddings, vineyards, event venues, and large family dining spaces.
The set remains in good antique condition with age-related wear, patina, and signs of use consistent with age and history.
