Antique French Oak Farm Table Dining Table, Auvergne, c. 1750–1800

Authentic antique French farm table dating from approximately 1750–1800, sourced from the Auvergne region of France. Crafted from solid oak, this substantial table combines rustic simplicity with practical functionality and displays a warm, naturally aged patina developed over centuries of use.

The table features a thick 3 cm solid oak top with matching 3 cm side aprons, highlighting the durable construction typical of early French provincial furniture. It includes two drawers: one large drawer positioned at the short end and a smaller drawer along one of the long sides. Both drawers feature wooden handles. The base of the larger drawer has been renewed.

For improved seating comfort, the table has been raised, making it more suitable for contemporary dining use while preserving its original character.

The wood has been treated with antique furniture wax, enhancing the natural grain and warm oak tones while offering surface protection.

Suitable as a dining table, farmhouse kitchen table, or statement piece in both rustic and contemporary interiors.
