Antique Shop Counter with 12 Drawers / Kitchen Island

Antique shop counter from France, dating from the late 19th century.

One side has a closed front divided into four recessed panels. The working side contains twelve spacious drawers, all fitted with their original handles. The drawers provide practical storage for kitchen utensils, tableware, shop supplies or other household items.

The counter is predominantly made from pine and stands on cherrywood legs. The wood has a warm, naturally aged surface with marks, wear and colour variations consistent with its age and original use.

With its generous work surface and counter height, it would make a practical kitchen island, bar counter, shop counter or display unit.
