Antique Walnut Drop-Leaf Dining Table from France, circa 1900

Antique walnut drop-leaf dining table from France, dating from around 1900. The table has a round top with two hinged leaves that can be lowered independently. With both leaves raised, it forms a round dining table measuring 118 cm in diameter.

When both leaves are lowered, the depth is reduced to 74 cm, making the table suitable for smaller rooms or for placement against a wall. It stands on turned legs connected by stretchers and is fitted with castors, allowing it to be moved more easily.

The walnut has a warm colour and a naturally aged surface, with marks, colour variations and other signs of age and use.
