Antique French Oak Drop Leaf Table, Round Dining Table, c. 1880–1920
This French oak drop leaf table dates from the late 19th to early 20th century (circa 1880–1920). It features two hinged leaves, allowing the table to be used either fully extended or with both leaves folded down to reduce its depth.
The table is made of solid oak and stands on four turned legs. The round top consists of several solid oak planks with a moulded edge. When folded, the table requires relatively little space while remaining stable and functional.
The table is in good antique condition with normal age-related wear. The oak shows minor surface marks, small scratches and natural shrinkage consistent with its age. The construction is solid and the leaves open and close properly.
Suitable as a dining table, kitchen table or occasional table.
